Goodbye Miss Barton

18 05 2012

Class 5 have been very lucky. Lucky because they have had the pleasure of Miss Barton teaching them while she completed her final teaching placement.

All the class loved having her and it is clear by all the number of cakes the children brought in today they really appreciated the time and effort that she put into their preparation for SATs.

I would personally like to say a huge thank you to Miss Barton as she proved herself not only to be an outstanding teacher but also as a joy to have around school. I also hope that you know that you are always welcome to pop into school whenever you would like.

We wish you all the best for your exciting teaching adventure that awaits you.

ICT Artwork based on Hindu Day

ICT Artwork based on Hindu Day

In the words of Rolf Harris ‘ Can you tell what it is yet?’

Class 5 will be creating portraits of the Queen for our local jubilee celebrations, we have decided that some of us them will create portraits of the Queen by photomoasiacs based on a typical day at Newtown.

Here is an example of a typical day but using staff and students of Newtown but we have used pictures of our Hindu Day we held last term.

Please check back to see the work created by the pupils.
